Calculation Details
- Enter pinfall for each roll in order.
- Add two rolls for an open frame.
- For a spare, add the next roll; for a strike, add the next two rolls.
- Use up to three rolls in frame 10 when a strike or spare earns bonus deliveries.
Formula
Open frame = two rolls; spare = 10 + next roll; strike = 10 + next two rolls
Rounding
Scores are whole pin counts; no rounding is used.
Default Assumptions
- Entries are pinfall values for a standard ten-frame ten-pin game.
- Fouls should be entered as zero pins.
- The calculator does not record splits, handicap, league points, or lane statistics.
Verified Example
Inputs: Twelve strikes: one strike in frames 1–9 and three strikes in frame 10.
Calculation: Each frame scores 30 because every strike receives the next two rolls as bonuses.
Result: Final score = 300.
