How the Calculator Processes Operations
When you select an operator, the calculator stores the displayed number. It treats the next numeric entry as the second operand and applies the selected operation when Equals is pressed.
The percent key divides the current number by 100, while the sign key multiplies it by negative one.
Formula
Result = Previous number (selected operator) Current number
Example
Enter 12, select multiplication, enter 4, and press Equals to display 48. Selecting Percent while 25 is displayed changes the current value to 0.25.
